mughal-kaleen-bharat-babur
Mughal Kaleen Bharat (Babur)

| A vital book series for understanding medieval Indian history. This volume deals with Baburs history in India. This is because his contact with India began after the conquest of Kabul. Part A presents a translation of the entire Baburnama from 910 AH to the end, but to understand Baburs personality, knowledge of his early autobiography is also essential; therefore, this has also been translated in Part D. Only a few pages that deal solely with the history of the Uzbeks have not been translated. Such passages have been mentioned in appropriate places. Part B presents translations of all pages related to Babur from the Nafaysul Maasir, Gulbadan Begums Humayunnama, the Akbarnama, and the Tabaqat-e-Akbari. Knowledge of the Afghan perspective is also essential to understanding Babur. Therefore, Part C presents translations of Waqiate Mushtaqi, Tarikhe Daoudi, and Tarikhe Shahi, relating to the history of the Afghans. The appendix presents translations of essential quotations from Habibus Siyar, Tarikhe Rashidi, Tarikhe Alfi, and Tarikhe Sindh. Professor Rush Brook Williams also refutes the myths of the famous work Ehsanus Siyar. His autobiography is a crucial source of information regarding Baburs history. The translation is based on the Persian translation by Abdur Rahim Khankhana, but the original Turkish translations and the translations by Mrs. Beveridge and Lucas King are also used. All names are taken from Turkish texts, and their spellings take into account Turkish pronunciation. It is hoped that this book will prove useful to researchers and inquisitive readers.
