(Hindi Edition)","description":"\u003cp\u003eDaag, whose poetry is no less than a shining tower for Urdu literature, is considered one of the foremost Indian poets, thanks to his Delhi dialect and the wit of his poetry. Master poets like Seemab Akbarabadi, Josh Malsiyani, Dr. Iqbal, Agha Shayar Bekhud Dehlvi, and Ehsan Marharvi were all originally disciples of Daag. The renowned poet Nawab Mirza Khan Daag was born in Delhi in 1831. His father, Shamsuddin Khan, was the brother of Nawab Loharu. His father passed away when Daag was five or six years old. His mother married Mirza Fakhru, son of Bahadur Shah Zafar. From then on, Daag also began living in Delhis Red Fort, where he received all kinds of education. During this time, he began writing poetry. Mirza Fakhru died in 1856, and the following year, a rebellion broke out, forcing him to move to Rampur. There, he lived with Prince Nawab Kalb Ali Khan. After the Nawabs death in 1887, he returned from Rampur to Delhi. During his travels, he reached Hyderabad the following year. In 1890, Daag went to Hyderabad and became the Nizams tutor. He gained both respect and fame there, but died there of paralysis in 1905. Regarding Daags poetry, it can be said that the beauty of his poetry lies in his language and his style of expression. For his simple language, Daag became very famous. His four Diwans (Diwans) are Gulzare-Daag, Afratabe-Daag, Mahtabe-Daag, and Yadgare-Daag. Fariyade-Daag is his masnavi (epic poem). Its no mistake that reading Daag Dehlvis poetry can convince one of his art. I havent seen anyone like Daag in your gathering.
