The Urdu language originated in India. Regardless of their mother tongue, writers continued to write in Urdu. Therefore, wherever Urdu expanded, the mental atmosphere of its readers also became bright and open. No religion or ideology can dominate a language; those who think so do great harm not only to themselves but also to the development of their language. While they may gain personal benefits by using our historical heritage as a pawn for temporary political gain, we will lose the treasure of Urdu literature on a large scale and also harm Hindi literature. Urdu words appear like gems embedded in the stories written in Hindi by many writers, giving the language a new beauty. If we launch a campaign to remove them and replace them with pure Hindi words, what will become of that prose? Our elders have created such magnificent female characters, who still feel alive today, in whom life throbs with all its surroundings, opening up a treasure trove of feelings in every shade before us, completely disproving the idea that only women can write honestly about women. This is 100% true, but art goes beyond this fact and tells us that the world of art neither believes nor accepts this distinction between men and women. The proof is in the form of these stories. These stories capture an entire century, presenting our changing thoughts, society, environment, and humanity as a document. It is a different matter that some characters may seem completely new and breathing in the present.
