Raghuvir Sahays lifelong work is vast and multifaceted, as this biography will once again make clear. It is so versatile and original that it is impossible to write about everything here, but here are hints and essences of some aspects of his thinking that, unfortunately, have not yet received our attention. I believe that even those things that stand out and are boldly presented in a writers work should be included in a biography. Any evaluation of his poems and stories has been avoided as much as possible because, in my opinion, this is not the work of a biography, and many good attempts have been made to evaluate Raghuvir Sahay. The effort here is to highlight as much as possible what he himself has said and revealed about his work. One objection may be that the book is overly complimentary about Raghuvir Sahay. If this is true, then the fault lies partly in Raghuvir Sahays personality, partly in those who speak well of him, and ultimately, most of all, in me. Vishnu Nagar (from the introduction)
