This Book, If Read At A Crossroad, Will Give Us Ideas Of New Alternatives And Will Help Us To Understand The Colonial Underpinnings That We Carried So Far In Our Journey. As Scholars, Leaders, And Policy Planners We Have To Get To The Root Causes Of Our Problems. This Book Presents A New View On Those Causalities. Often, For Example, It Is Assumed That There Was Just One Paradigm Of Colonial Rule, But Recent Scholarships Has Shown The Different Forms In Which The British Ruled India. Centuries Of Conquest And Colonial Interpretation And Re-Interpretation Of Our History Has Thus Knotted Our Minds. This Book Is My Humble Attempt To Untangle Some Of These Knots. The Book Focuses On India, Especially On North East India, And Contains Original Research Over Several Years In Six Chapters. I Realize That This Book Will Create A Great Deal Of Controversy Because It Touches Upon And Challenges Traditional Literature. My Book Challenges The Traditional Knowledge On Several Areas And Will Hopefully Generate Debate.
