India resides within me is an expression of emotions that expand from individuality to collectivity. When these emotions are transformed into linguistic structures and put on paper, they become the voice of collective sensibility. Poetry, like a woman, carries the seed of creativity in its womb, containing infinite possibilities and boundless emotions. For those who categorize India-centric migrant writing as homesickness, it is essential to understand that India is naturally the primary and primary background for the emotions growing in the body of the soil in which we were born and nurtured.A child migrating to a foreign land far from the metropolis or the countrys borders for employment leaves the wet sheet of their heart hanging on a rope in the courtyard of their home. As soon as we remember our parents, we spread that sheet on the cot in the courtyard and lie down. At that time, our eyes do not dream of the future. They play as moving pictures of memories, where our carefree childhood giggles, playing hide and seek in our mothers lap. Perched on our fathers shoulders, we stand tall and proud, standing out from the crowd.It flows like a Ganges in my veins, in every vein.Wherever I go, wherever I live, an India resides within me.
