Description
Bharati Ka Saput is a highly interesting and original work based on the life of Bharatendu Harishchandra, one of the creators of Hindi. Bharatendu Harishchandra is considered the father of modern Hindi. The great poet Jagannath Das Ratnakar called him Bharati Ka Saput. In the mid-nineteenth century, when Bharatendu Harishchandra was born, a simple Khari Boli for everyday use was emerging from Awadhi and Braj Bhasha. Bharatendu gave impetus to this development by writing a variety of works and ensuring its future form. Born into a wealthy family, Bharatendu was a victim of both the pros and cons of feudal life. He died of tuberculosis at the young age of 34, but in that short time, he accomplished so much that it continues to this day. Bharatendus personality was also very colorful and interesting. The author Rangey Raghav was a deep scholar and enthusiast of history, hence his novel Bharati Ka Sapoot is not only readable in its depiction but is also historically accurate and very close to the truth.
