Her Paternal Grandfather Was In The Cavalry During British Times. His Wife Very Often Travelled With Him To The Various Family Stations Where He Would Be Posted. He Was A Quirky Old Man, And She Remembers Him Fondly. He Was Always Recounting Stories To His Grandchildren, As He Was A WellTravelled Man. The People In The Village Revered Him And Would Come To Pay Their Respects To Him As He Sat On A Chair Smoking His Hookah In Front Of His Whitewashed Haveli.The Author Had Fond Memories Of Those Times, As She Had Listened OpenMouthed To The Tales Told By Him.Art And Writing Have Gone Hand In Hand For Premila. She Has Travelled Widely, Having Spent Almost Two Decades In South Africa.
