The book is reveals dedication of volunteers of Andhra Library movement, a part of Indian Independence Movement. Inspired by leaders, ten thousand libraries were initiated around 1919 in Telugu speaking areas. Andhra Granthalayam Kurnool can be described as one of the jewels, as it served readers 25 years before and 25 years after Independence. It was started, financed and maintained by one individual. Muchukota Venkataramaiah can be described as personification of definition of volunteer by Mahatma Gandhi.
