Description
We are told that Mahatma Buddha, dissatisfied with the Vedic tradition, forged his own path, and therefore the contemporary Vedic tradition did not accept him. His philosophy was disregarded as an atheist philosophy. Furthermore, he was despised as an anti-Hindu philosopher. It was only centuries later that he was accepted as the ninth incarnation of Vishnu in the Dashavatara. It is a profound irony of history that Buddhism, and Buddha himself, almost disappeared from the very land where he first spread the light of enlightenment. When Prince Siddhartha, raised in the Vedic tradition, realized that not only the prohibitions of life, such as birth, old age, and death, but also the issues of love, interpersonal relationships, and family, raise lifelong questions, he embarked on rigorous penance to find a way to put an end to these questions. He found answers to these questions and guided the world toward his new path. However, the world failed to look at this path, and even centuries later, it continues to look at the finger that pointed the way.Now that Mahatma Buddha is no longer with us, the world continues to suffer greatly from these questions, despite their answers. The novel Full Stop on Questions was first published in 2008 with this central idea. Now, it seems that since we have failed to absorb the answers offered by Lord Buddha, why not appeal to him, Buddha! Please return.
