Pran Kumar Sharma, popularly known as Pran, was a renowned Indian cartoonist. He was born on August 15, 1938, in Kasur, a small town in Punjab, now in Pakistan, and died on August 6, 2014.Pran is best known for creating the iconic Indian comic book character Chacha Chaudhary. A middle-aged man with a red turban and white moustache, he was known for his wit, intelligence, and problem-solving abilities. He quickly became a household name.
