While allopathy is recognized as the primary, all others are considered alternative medical systems. Homeopathy is an independent medical system, just like Ayurveda, Greek, and Chinese medical systems. There are currently approximately 200 such alternative medical systems worldwide, which are being used in full or in part to treat many simple and complex diseases, with satisfactory results. The patient is not concerned with the type of disease. They simply want to be cured in the shortest possible time and at the lowest cost. They are concerned with the end, not the means. If a doctor cures one disease but causes others, what good is such treatment to the patient? Allopathy may quickly alleviate the disease, but it does not eradicate it completely. In such a situation, the end of one disease becomes the cause of another.
