Dali Ditties Animal Collection

Dali Ditties is a series of childrens books where a little, curious girl, Dali (meaning a branch in Hindi), is seen sharing her experiences of the world in the form of Ditties (which means short poems). These experiences are on general knowledge topics with the aim that the children easily grasp information when they are young. The world around us is nothing but a sum of names, places, animals and things. The books in this series focus on each of these categories to bring in the element of comprehensiveness. In the ANIMAL series, a broad category of Animal Collections has been included, to emphasise on the names of collections of various animals such as owls, peacocks, zebras, camels, honeybees, lions, apes and jellyfish.The illustrations in the books are thoughtfully constructed and correlated with the ditties to provide a wholesome learning experience. AUDIBLE NARRATION INCLUDED - SOUND BOOK/ AUDIO BOOK To support the younger ones, QR codes are provided for each ditty, which when scanned, would re-direct them to an audible narration done by a 5 year old child. The author hopes that this would also encourage them to read the ditties along and aloud, thus, aid further in their reading proficiency and retention of information. Few activities are also provided therein to maintain the interactive continuity. Also, at the end of each book, an extensive glossary of words has been included.
