Description
This book confirms Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Ambedkars statement that there is no difference between Dalits and upper castes based on heredity. It logically explains that the rulers spared no effort in dividing Hinduism along caste lines. They tried to instill in the upper castes a false sense of superiority, claiming that they, like themselves, came from Europe to rule over people of Indian origin, and instilled in the lower castes a sense of inferiority, believing that they were inferior not only to the white rulers but also to the upper castes. Thus, as the ruling class, they attempted to create another division between themselves and the majority population, and to a large extent, they succeeded. This is why Dalit leaders are not remembered for their struggle for Indias independence.Due to political compulsions, governments will continue to form hundreds of commissions and act on their reports to pretend to improve the condition of the poor and Dalits of various castes, religions, and regions in the country, but this will not yield the desired results. The problem lies elsewhere: corruption, and if its not addressed, all efforts are futile. The purpose of this book is to provide a rational analysis of the reasons why Dalits have been humiliated and exploited for centuries. Readers will learn from this book how politically motivated these reasons are far from the truth.
