Description
Thousands of years ago, some branches of the Suras left their original home in the Himalayan foothills and settled in the far west. Gradually, they spread from present-day India to West Asia. New civilizations arose, and new routes of transportation were established. The Suras, who ruled over large parts of the world, assumed the title of Deva.Over time, the Suras split into two groups. Those who disagreed with the Suras rigid way of life, adopted the name Asura. There were frequent clashes between the Suras and Asuras. However, to discover sea routes, they jointly launched the churning of the ocean, which led them to a world of wonder and mystery. In this mysterious world, they discovered nectar called Soma, the possession of which once again sparked a dispute between the Suras and Asuras. Uday of the Devas is a novel based on ancient legends. In it, the authors imagine a newly emerging and developed civilization of the Suras and Devas thousands of years ago.
