Empowering women to achieve their goals

One of the most important aspects to remember is that women play various roles in the development of each economy. Notable gender imbalances in various setups have necessitated the need for women to advance the empowerment agenda to improve womens representation in all setups. Women will require the support of fellow women and men to progress and grow. Those aspiring to grow need to be ready and possess some attributes and skills that will help them discharge their duties and excel. Some behaviours demonstrated by some women leaders are slowing down this process. Women empowerment initiatives are not yielding the desired results despite several initiatives being put in place. We continue to shift the blame on men for lack of support yet a solution lies within us. The change needs to start with us. Empowering Women to Achieve their Goals aims at providing a mix of concepts, research findings, real-life examples and actionable advice that will highlight and show how women can move forward as they seek a reasonable representation of women in executive and leadership positions.
