This is one series I will be keeping on my read again book shelves and you can bet I will be following this author with anticipation of his next Bedlam adventure. Mr. Hunt can paint some very interesting scenes and bring them to life in a beautiful (nail biting) way. The added bonus of being set in Nashville won me over. The plot is twisty, the characters well developed and whats more believable. The author is familiar with the Nashville TN area and portrays the locations in his book realistically. The imagery he invokes makes you feel like youre right there feeling the grain of wood, smelling the smoke of a tavern room and tasting the sweetness of a Tennessee whiskey. His characters are not flawless, which makes them likable. Even the bad guys have personality. The plot has enough twists and turns to keep you guessing but wraps it all up by the end with a nice little bow.
