An interesting pattern in these murders is that the slip found in the hands of the deceased sometimes contains a verse by Chanakya and sometimes a couplet by Ghalib.Detective Dhruv Tyagi connects the clues to find the murderer. Meanwhile, two admirers of Ghalib and Chanakya appeal to the public, the media, and politicians, only to be insulted by them themselves; ultimately, they approach the court. For this, they even take the blame for the serial murders taking place in the city. What happens to them in court and how Dhruv Tyagi solves the case forms the climax of this novel.
