About the Author Jrgen Manfred Hofmann wurde 1949 in Zittau geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte er Technische Gebudeausrstung an der TU Dresden. Als Diplomingenieur plante er haus und versorgungstechnische Anlagen in Berlin, Ostsachsen und der Lausitz, leitete deren Montage und sorgte fr den sicheren und strungsfreien Betrieb. Er ist mit einer Zahnrztin verheiratet, hat zwei erwachsene Shne und lebt in einem Ort nahe seiner Geburtsstadt. Das Schreiben von Geschichten, Biographien und Sachtexten ist eins seiner Hobbies.
