The Gulmohar tree bloomed with its bright red flowers, and it decorated the Guptas lawn, adding colour and energy to the otherwise neglected ground. The huge tree had also inspired Guptajis father to name the house Gulmohar, he had admired the red flowers that decorated the tree when he had come to buy the plot of land many years back.A lot had changed in the old rustic Versova village since his father had passed away. Now it was nearly the end of the 80s era, The village was no longer a village, it had transformed into a successful neighbourhood with big buildings in place of the small cottages.
