The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar, but its ideological foundation was provided by the second Sarsanghchalak, Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, Shri Guruji. Dr. Hedgewar passed away only fifteen years after the Sanghs founding, but before his death, he appointed Shri Guruji as the Sanghs second Sarsanghchalak. World War II, the Quit India Movement, the Azad Hind Fauj and Netajis contribution to Indias independence, Indias partition, the countrys independence, Kashmirs annexation, Gandhis assassination, the countrys first general election, Indias defeat by China, and the 1965 and 1971 wars with Pakistannot only was Shri Guruji the head of the RSS during these crucial periods of events that shaped and transformed Indias history, but he also influenced them through his activism and ideology. This is the authentic biography of Shri Guruji, revered not only as a spiritual figure in contemporary Indian history but also as a propagator of social, cultural, and life values.
