HAMSAFAR,My main objective behind writing HAMSAFAR has been to spread as much information as possible to the readers about the great personalities who have played remarkable roles in their own way in preserving the language, culture and heritage of Duggar region of Jammu & Kashmir.If we just realize,then we all have a common journey. We all have the same destination which is to preserve our cultural heritage so that future generations can feel proud of it. During this journey, everyone makes contributions from his/her side in this Mahayagya. Some blessed with extraordinary talents contribute so much that they become a source of inspiration for others. Taking inspiration from the same inspired personalities, more people join this noble cause, which helps a lot in preserving their language, culture and heritage.Although for the promotion and propagation of the cultural heritage of the region, many inspiring people have contributed and are still constantly striving in it with full zeal and sincerity, but I have been able to give place to only a few personalities in this book. However, I would like to say here that, in future also, I will try to continue similar efforts from my side, so that I can compile information about more inspiring personalities in series of books on regular intervals.Hope,You all will like this small effort of mine.
