Consequently, the reader finds it easy to follow, and even the most complex contexts are easily grasped. The author has such profound faith in his logic that he no longer requires emotion. Acharya Shuklas history, from ancient times to modern times, continues in a similarly fact-based and logical manner. He also unflinchingly discusses the characteristics and limitations of both sides in evaluating contemporary writers, whether active within a given trend or not. In his initial thesis, Acharya Shukla states that literature is the accumulated reflection of the publics mindset, and Acharya Shuklas work in history and criticism lies in examining the traditions of these mindsets and demonstrating their harmony with the literary tradition. A significant feature of this history is that, by approaching the modern era, the author presents a broad, albeit symbolic, perspective on European literature, such as Sanskrit-Prakrit-Apabhramsha poetics and literature in the context of the early and medieval periods. This clarifies his understanding of sources, connections, and influences in his historical analysis.
