Description

The Indian social system is not only politically confused, but its thinking is also flawed. We are constantly moving forward in the political arena solely on the basis of vote-making. Distinctions based on caste, class, and sect are now being viewed in the country as superior or inferior. In this context, unnecessary political pressure is leading to a distorted view of history writing, the expression of social issues, and art and literature. Todays Hindu society, divided into six and a half thousand castes and over fifty thousand sub-castes, is mourning its plight. The Hindu tanner community is one of them. In the past, the entire Hindu society was well-organized into four varnas, one hundred and seventeen gotras, and thirty-six castes. Before the invasion of foreign Arab invaders, there were no Muslims, Sikhs, or Dalits in India. This is a research-based presentation of the golden and glorious dynastic history of the Hindu tanner community, which was forced into leather work at the expense of religion. The core of this work is an assessment of the current status of the Hindu Tanner caste and the development measures and recommendations from society and the government for its empowerment. Particularly important is the detailed analysis of this castes lineage, clan, and surname, along with the mention of the Hindu Tanner castes contributions to India. This work, which proves every argument that the Hindu Tanner caste lives as untouchable, impure, humiliated, and despised, is baseless, meaningless, and illogical, and illuminates their glorious, golden history.
