To paraphrase the title of Ankushs poem, these poems are poems written during a period of unfortunate times. In making this statement, and within the circle drawn around this poem, the poet attempts to explore both small and large emotions. In this exploration, theres always the danger that some irrational people will address him with a contemporary term, similar to bastard. Therefore, these poems are written with this risk in mind. When destruction and bulldozing are the main scenes of this time, a poets desire to preserve many things is strong. Ankush stands in favor of preserving all these things in his poems. This also results in some nostalgic poems, but they dont just deal with the past; they blend the present and the past to write about time.The themes of his poems are diverse. There may be many love poems, and there may also be frequent visits to memories. He writes about both sanitation workers and postmen. Poems like A Friend Searching for a Room offer a fresh take on human guilt and honesty. Its one of the best poems in this collection, in terms of sensitivity. Such poems at least prove that this poet isnt a typical poet. Thus, despite striving to be socially practical, he remains impractical, which accelerates the poems pace.~Arun Kamal
