Zauq holds a special place in Urdu poetry. He was considered a master of poetry and was also the royal poet in the court of the last emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar. His ghazals are among the most important Urdu poems. She holds a special place in literature, and even today, admirers of Urdu poetry are enamored of her ghazals and poems.
