Swami Ramtirtha was a great philosopher and preacher. He was born on October 2, 1873, in Murariwala village, Gujranwala district, Punjab. His father, Gosain Hiranand, supported his family by working as a priest. His family was related to the lineage of Goswami Tulsidasji. Ramtirthas grandfather, Gosain Ramchandra, was a renowned astrologer of his time. While drawing Ramtirthas horoscope, he had clearly stated that Ramtirtha would become a great scholar and preacher of religion, but would live only for a short time. Swami Ramtirtha was truly a miraculous man. His entire life was extraordinary and inspiring. He presented Advaita Vedanta to the public in a simplified manner, so that even the average person could benefit from it. He showed humanity the path to truth by imparting practical teachings of renunciation, self-confidence, action, devotion, fearlessness, perseverance, unity, and universal love. Not only his teachings, but his entire life is Vedantic and instructive. His pure heart was ablaze with goodwill and harmony. This book contains the sacred words and treasures of the divine being Swami Ramtirtha, offering insights into human qualities.
