Furthermore, Dr. Athar Abbas Rizvi has also included Afghan sources related to Humayuns history in this volume. Translations of some texts have been included in footnotes rather than in the original text. The translations of these texts have enhanced their usefulness. While translating the abridged texts, efforts have been made to ensure that no significant event or point of cultural, social, or economic importance is left out. Like other texts, this one is extremely useful for studying the history of Humayuns time, especially for those unfamiliar with Persian but wishing to research this period.
