Description

The period immediately after the independence of the country was a time of rapid change in Indian culture. Pagdandiyon to Shahrahon Tak is an autobiography written in 33 parts. This is the true story of a girl born at that time in the Muslim Sayyid Gharana in Kasba Nagina District Bijnor in Western Uttar Pradesh. She was the first girl of that town from the Sadat fraternity to go to school, with a strict screen and a religious atmosphere. This was the time when the girls of Sadat had no idea of school education and job. Marrying at the age of seventeen and never getting an opportunity to study regularly in school or college after class tenth, the girl not only achieved high education, coordinating with the household, children and the elderly but also attained higher education. After passing the competitive examination of the Public Service Commission, got a job and retired from the post of Deputy Collector (SDM). This book should be read especially by those people who consider getting married to break the relationship of girls with education. It will be very inspiring for the girls to read this that with perseverance and hard work, any destination becomes easy and the path becomes equal for others as well as for themselves.
