Pratinidhi Kavitayein : Om Prakash Valmiki

Omprakash Valmiki has written poetry, stories, autobiographies, and criticism. But at his core, he is a poet. His creative personality found expression first in poetry. He believed that the negation in Dalit poetry stems from past beliefs and the hypocrisy of the present, but its primary objective is to instill love, equality, and brotherhood in life instead of hatred. The poems included in this collection of his representative poems prove this. He raises questions, exposing the reality of Dalits, but not out of a sense of revenge, but out of a sense of justice. These poems, in straightforward and simple terms, raise numerous questions that upper-caste Hindu society, despite all its power, must remain silent.
