Description

I often wonder if my first story had returned unpublished, would this writing process have continued or ended there?...because looking back, I dont remember feeling any passion, restlessness, or impatience about writing at that time. The passion began with the publication of the story, Bhairavjis encouragement, and the readers response. In my desire to connect my inner I with the many external Is, I found, to some extent, an answer to the question: why do I write? Ive faced this question countless times since I began writing, but if Ive never been able to give myself a satisfactory answer, how could I give it to others? The answer this entire process has brought me to is the only or final one, and even today I cant claim its the only or final one, but it is certainly an important aspect. As soon as any work is published, I feel the desire that as many people as possible should read it, not just read it, but also connect with itto become part of it at the level of empathy, that is, that the story and suffering of one person can become the story of many Why only me? Isnt this desire to become a bridge between one and many inherent in the writing of most writers? Whether Ive written stories, novels, or plays, my approach to language has always been consistent. From the very beginning, I have considered transparency to be essential for narrative language. Language should connect the reader directly with the storywithout becoming a barrier or obstacle in between. Some people believe that such simple, or, as Jainendra puts it, plain language is incapable of revealing the subtlest nuances of deep sensitivity, profound meaning, and emotion. But doesnt Jainendras style shatter this notion? Yes, I must say that writing in simple language is the most difficult task. I wouldnt dare claim that I was able to completely accomplish this difficult task, but I can certainly say that my efforts have always been in this direction. From the Introduction
