In this book, the author proposes a new system for solving global challenges such as poverty, epidemics, climate change, conflicts and wars. There are deep concerns about the increasing income gap, social exclusion, violence and degradation of social values. Most of us are exposed to various insecurities and struggles. Unless we do a course correction, the future poses increasingly grave threats.So then, what is the solution? How might we create a system that instead produces sustainability, democracy, peace? After all we are all just humans and all these problems are simply matters of coexistence. Our fundamental problem statement is how can we make human life worth living and enjoyable? If the system enables all citizens to live a life of their wish, then it will be called a successful system. If the management of resources is inappropriate, which denies citizens to live the life they want, then it will be called an unsuccessful system.One design for a NEXT system-helps clarify what we want and how we get there. This NEXT system is democratic, plural in nature and yet is managed by a centralized system of governance. A system in which power resides with citizens at all times and yet there is a centralized system of administration. If this model comes into existence, then problems that occur now will cease to take birth. Presently this book is available in languages like Hindi, English, Russian and Bengali.
