For me, cooking is a form of meditation. Its my way of showering love and blessings on everyone. I feel humbled and happy when my family and loved ones enjoy the parathas that I make. They are always asking me for the recipe. Sharing my recipes with the world has always given me a lot of joy. Afterall, knowledge increases when shared, doesnt it? I had never thought of writing a cookbook and two years ago, my daughter-in-law, Mayura, came up with this idea. She created an entire framework for the book and I just didnt do anything about it. However, this year, I guess the writing bug bit me and I decided to pen down my recipes with the help of my wonderful grandson, Abhimanyu. My husband, Krishankant Jain helped me with the wonderful anecdotes and my daughter-in-law, Mayura helped me edit it. My son, Amarkant (Happy) helped design the book and publish it. Little Sanskriti, my granddaughter, used to sit at my side and carefully listen to the stories and recipes and ask lots of questions. I completely enjoyed the process and am hoping that you all like the recipes too. Through this book, I am passing on my legacy of delicious cooking to you all.
