The Question Is How To Prepare Teachers? It Would Be Better If He Is Better Prepared Before Coming To School, For This He Should Be Given School Experiences. That Is Why A Need Was Felt To ReLook At The Curriculum And Content Of Teacher Education And Changes Have Been Made In The Curriculum Of B.Ed. The Aim Of The Curriculum Focuses On Aspects Like Understanding Of Education, Understanding Of Subjects, Understanding Of The Way Children Learn, Relationship Between Society And Education. In The Curriculum, Importance Has Been Given To Understanding Of The Subject Rather Than Emphasis On Methods Of Teaching. Along With This, A Beginning Has Been Made To Understand The Philosophical Aspect Of Education, To Identify The Basis Of Curriculum And To Understand The Diversity In The Background Of Children And Their Ways Of Learning. Keeping All This In View, The Syllabus Related To The Selection Of Assistant Teachers Has Also Been Changed And It Is Being Tested As To How Much Knowledge Has Been Acquired Through PreService Teacher Training.
