Description
This book is about how His Highness Maharaja Sir Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Dev Barman Bahadur, in addition to being a visionary king, confronted political movements during his reign. Later, despite facing numerous mass agitations in Tripura, East Pakistan, and India, he decided to join Tripura in India to safeguard Tripuri and other subjects. His death in 1947 resulted in his family being subjected to a conspiracy. Following his death, Maharani Kanchan Prabha Devi signed the Merger Agreement in 1949 on behalf of her son, which merged Tripura with a newly independent India.
