The learned poet Trilochan, who transformed the local, suffering-born sentiments of the common people into poetry, connecting them with the universal consciousness of humanity, and who captured the precision of scriptures and the ever-new experiences of life in numerous meters, is a unique signature in the vast world of Hindi poetry. A scholar of many languages, a Sanskrit scholar, and a progressive mind, Trilochan mastered ancient meters like the Rola and the Barvai, wrote songs and ghazals, and made foreign meters like the sonnet Hindis own. This is evident in these articles. Some unpublished articles are also presented here, along with his diary.
