Marx used the same dialectical theory on which the German philosopher Hegel explained spirituality to explain materialism. The learned author has divided the book into three main chapters, presenting a thorough explanation of history, philosophy, sociology, and religion. Rahul Ji first wrote this book in 1942, when there was strong support for Gandhi and Gandhians in the country. It discusses Gandhism in the Indian context. From the perspective of Indian thought and philosophy, this book first fills a major gap in Indian literature, especially in Hindi. From a philosophical perspective, Scientific Materialism, in its small form, presents the European thought of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in a concise form, with an Indian context. Indeed, by studying this book, any Indian speaker can gain a thorough understanding of Western thought.
