An Introduction to the 12 Bhavas : A Journey into the World of Vedic Astrology

This is the Indian Edition of the book. Bhva is unquestionably the most important area of Jyotia. After learning the building blocks of Grahas, Ris, Krakas, the Bhvas is the next big step. The Bhvas allow us to apply Jyotia in our lives. The Bhvas map an individual to the Klapurua. The zodiac or the Bhcakra starts from Mea and has 12 Ris. Similarly, an individuals Kual starts from the Lagna and has 12 Bhvas. The 12 Bhvas of an individual correspond to the 12 Ris of the Klapurua. There is a saying that we are made in the same template as God. This concept of Bhva supports that. There is a correspondence between the Jtaka Kual and the Klapurua Kual. Jtaka Kual is the Kual of an individual. In the Kual, when a Bhva and its corresponding Ri in the Klapurua Kual are fortified, the matters related to the Bhva attains prominence and success. For instance, when the 9th house and Dhanu Ri in a Kual are fortified, the native is born with good fortune and blessings of the Devats. Contrary to it, if both are afflicted, the suffering is terrible. This book is an introduction to the 12 Bhvas. This is an extensive field of knowledge, and explaining each Bhva can occupy an entire book. The intention here is to provide a high-level overview of all the 12 Bhvas so that one can undertake a study of each on their own. If time permits, I will pen my thoughts and reflections on each of the 12 Bhvas separately!
