Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, founder of the worlds largest volunteer organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, worked with a lofty goal in mind since childhood. As the Sanghs work expanded, qualities like patriotism, self-confidence, a sense of unity, and a sense of national pride grew in society. Dr. Hedgewar inspired countless life-giving figures committed to nation-building. The Sangh, built on the foundation of whose devotion and austerity, is performing the vital work of service, cultural awakening, and service on a global scale. The second Sarsanghchalak of the RSS, Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, also known as Shri Guruji, not only provided the RSS with an ideological foundation, drafted its constitution, expanded it nationwide, and spread RSS branches throughout the country, but also witnessed historical events such as the Partition of the country, Indias independence, Gandhis assassination, three wars between India and Pakistan (including Kashmir), and Chinas invasion of India, and continuously intervened in the making of that history. The present book presents the entire journey of both the Sarsanghchalaks, from their birth to their Mahaparinirvana, in an interesting question-answer format, which provides a new perspective on Indian history.
