The introduction showcases the rich history of the IAF from its birth in 1933 on the Wapiti Biplane, to Operations in NWFP, 1948 Ops, 1962 Indo-Pak War, 1971 Indo-Pak War followed by the 1999 Kargil Ops and the latest Balakot airstrike. The book is divided into the aircraft sections of: Fighters, Helicopters, Transport and Trainers followed by Air Defence, Maintenance, Aerobatics and Heritage Flight. It is profusely illustrated with images shot over a period of two years at numerous air bases across India. Shooting started at sunrise and went beyond sunset, many stunning images are published for the first time in a book.
