How to Be Mindful

Since the 1970s, people who suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, stress, depression, psychosis, addiction and other forms of mental disorder, and psychiatric conditions have been advised to turn to clinical psychology and psychiatry. Efforts to provide assistance to these victims have led to the development of several therapeutic applications. Eventually, mindfulness began to be recognized as a medical procedure, which may help prevent or reduce the severity of the aforementioned psychological conditions. For example, the practice of mindfulness has been adopted as a preventive strategy to prevent the development of various mental health issues. In the Western world, John Kabatzin is generally accepted as a propagandist of contemplative meditation, and no contrary opinion has ever gained prominence. As one of its tenets, Buddhism employs thoughtfulness to encourage self-knowledge and enlightenment, which are believed to gradually call Buddhists enlightenment and also describe total freedom from suffering.
