Middle Class Manchurian

We middle-class people are very fond of food and drink. We eat and drink in every flavor, from every region and every country. Before North India was colored by idli-dosa and sambar, and South India by chole-bhature and butter chicken, the entire country was colored by Chinas unique cuisine. While its Chinese in name only, our chow mein, momos, and Manchurian are truly our own. Unless we add coriander leaves to Ajinomoto or soy sauce, we cant taste them. Manchurian isnt just the name of a mixed recipe; its the philosophy of our entire generation. It needs noodles or rice as an accompaniment. Thats a completely middle-class metaphor. The middle class, ready to embrace everything new, jealous of those who surpass them, willing to make friends through any means necessary, but a fun-loving class that supports everyone in times of need.Middle Class Manchurian is a story of diverse colors and flavors centered around this middle class.
