Practice manual have been written as a guiding tool of how to access patients need of drug therapy, which therapy is suitable and how to decide what are the options available to manage various disease/ailments. Through this book we have tried to elaborate the job of a pharmacy practitioner, that how would he/she be able to deliver skills into most rational ways towards his patient. This book discusses various real time and simulated case studies, specifically to various diseases and the use of drugs in their management. As a Registered Pharmacist, one should discourage the over use of drugs and promote the adequate intake of doses as per the Standard Treatment Guidelines. The book discusses about life style modification points which should be discussed with patients during his visit to OPD pharmacy or a bed side visit. This book promotes the skills of a good pharmacist, who checks a doctor prescription and evaluate all the prescribed drugs for its generic name, dose, route, dosage form, frequency, strength and time.
