This book is about one of the most persecuted community in the world: Rohingyas. Through this book, the author had tried to make the readers aware of the Rohingyas and their issue, its background, problems faced by Rohingyas in Bangladesh and analyse the relocation plan announced by the Bangladesh government to relocate Rohingyas to Bhasan Char island. The author has chosen the case of the Rohingya refugees to explore the impact of such policy on the lives of Rohingyas and more precisely how it will set up a wrong precedent for other nations to do the same by upholding their interest and ignoring international law & principles. This book will examine how national priority of Bangladesh led the Bangladesh government to work out a plan for relocating Rohingyas to somewhere else by compromising with the life and human rights of Rohingyas and thus, violating the international laws and principles just for the sake of their national interest, in the name of welfare activities for refugees. Moreover, the book also analyse how this decision not just undermine international law but also raises a big question mark on the very existence of international organizations like the United Nations to address such an issue as they have completely failed to solve the Rohingyas issue, even after decades and were proven to be ineffective.
