Aruna was born in 1948 into an upper-middle-class family. From early in her life, she had a passion for reading and learning. She was deeply influenced by her mothers character. Her mother was married as a child. After having five children, she completed her education and retired as a principal. It was under her inspiration and guidance that Aruna succeeded in achieving her lifes goal.Arunas love of books and thirst for knowledge led her to her lifes goal. This fueled her curiosity to read and research religious, historical, and social texts. As a result, she progressed in this field and also wrote mythological books.She secured third place in her M.Sc. Chemistry at Gwalior University. She was accepted for a Ph.D. and also landed a job at D.R.L.M. However, she chose a different path: motherhood, and she succeeded. After her children became adults, she also worked as a manager in a company for 10 years.Being the wife of an army officer, she had the opportunity to live throughout India and abroad, which quenched her thirst for knowledge. Whenever she had the opportunity, she undertook numerous religious pilgrimages to enhance her knowledge of culture, history, and mythology. In the second half of her life, in her seventies, she devoted her talents to both her duties as a homemaker and a writer.Her books include Ramayana on the Test of Time, Ramayana for the Children, Krishna as a Seer, Shaktiswaroopa, on womens empowerment, Divine Spiritual Powers, and Women, the Pillars of Societys Power. She has also written books for children, aiming to teach them moral values.
