His works Boond aur Samudra, Amrit aur Vish, Manas ka Hans, Naachyo Bahut Gopal, and Khamjan Nayan made him an important pillar of the Hindi literary world. The field of journalism was also not untouched by Nagarjis versatile talent. He was associated with the editing of magazines such as Suneeti, Cinema Samachar, and Chakallas.
