Description
Tumhara Nanu collects Namvar Singhs letters to his daughter, Samiksha Thakur. These letters were written between 1986 and 2005, and their purpose was to introduce his daughter to the sights and other experiences he had seen during his travels. While compiling these letters, Samiksha ji, citing his daily travels and busy schedules, explains that upon returning home, he would enthusiastically recount his experiences and want his daughter to see those places as well. Thats why he later began writing about his experiences in letters. Letters have a warmth of their own, a rare experience in this age of mobile phones and email. Reading these letters, we feel that warmth and also become acquainted with the nuances of Namvar Singhs vision. The book also includes two articles written by Samiksha Thakur. In these letters, she sheds light on many aspects of Namvar Singhs life, including her father Namvar, the great Hindi critic Namvar, the beloved Namvar, and the orator Namvar. A readable and collectible book!
