Description
After independence, emphasis was placed on the use and progressive use of Hindi as the official language in administration. Translation quickly became a widespread subject. Translation became increasingly important and essential in the fields of science, technology, law, commerce, and, increasingly, literature. Some chapters of this book provide essential guidelines for those entering the field of practical translation. Standards for evaluating translation have not yet been established. After the creation of creative literature, a textbook and a grammar book are required. A small effort in the context of translation is made in the chapter titled Quality of Translation. Theorists and experts in the Hindi field may not yet pay much attention to instant translation or interpretation, even though it is a very important and fertile field today. This book also attempts to analyze some of the nuances of this particular translation genre. English-Hindi translation is performed regularly today; however, its practical aspects (checkpoints) have rarely been highlighted with examples. This book presents a detailed discussion of its various aspects in two large chapters. It is believed that this book will not only be helpful in gaining proficiency in the art of translation but will also prove to be informative for the general reader.
